A.P. Moller – Maersk calls on carbon tax for fossil fuels bunkers to bridge transition gap.
Unfortunately bunker fuels are exempt from the RIN program.
RINcrude.com recommends that instead of carbon taxes, allow bio-intermediates to the RIN program and/or a LCFS for maritime fuels. Price competitive renewable bunker fuels will come!
